Tenor Fabian Robles is quickly establishing himself as a promising young talent in the Belcanto and lyric tenor repertoire.
Winner in the 2008 Aspen Music Festival's Concerto Vocal Competition, Mr. Robles has also received various awards in other competitions, including the Best Male Performer Award in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2003 he received an Honor Award by the Senate of Puerto Rico and in May 2008 he received the “Tenor of the Year Award” by UNESCO for his outstanding achievements in the arts.

His repertoire includes Prince Ramiro in Rossini's La Cenerentola, Il Duca di Mantova in Verdi's Rigoletto, Edgardo in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Ferrando in Mozart's Così fan tutte, the Italian Tenor in Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier, Nemorino in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Roméo in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, the Tenor Soloist in Orff's Carmina Burana, Javier in Moreno-Torroba's zarzuela Luisa Fernanda, Ben-Ibhem in Luna's zarzuela El Asombro de Damasco, among others.
Recital experience includes several recital tours, with repertoire ranging from Opera and Zarzuela to Broadway highlights and art-songs. He's frequently invited to perform with the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra as well as other touring companies with outstanding success.
Conductors Mr. Robles has worked with include Patrick Summers, Eugene Kohn, Kemal Khan, Bruno Cinquegrani, Theo Alcantara, Lawrence Gilgore, Steven Mosteller, Ken Lam, Gerard Steichen, Roselin Pabon and Luis Biava among others.
